Another new monthly folk at the Blue Bell Inn, Halkyn. NE Wales.

I thought I should let you know that we have another new monthly folk session at the Blue Bell Inn, Halkyn. NE Wales. This time we’re broadening the term to accommodate some Americana.

Your hosts David Petie (Maverick Magazine) and Mike Hastings would like to invite you to the Blue Bell Inn Transatlantic Sessions which are held in traditional style at the Blue Bell Inn, Halkyn on the 4th Thursday of the month at 9pm. The music we play on this evening covers a wide variety of genres including, Americana, country, blues, folk, roots, bluegrass and many others. If you sing or play please come down and enjoy yourself. If you're listening, prepare yourself for some fun.

Everyone is welcome to come and join in or listen. You can find directions by following this link (just type in your postcode) by public transport or car.

2nd Thursday – Andy Hickie and Friends (see below) at the Blue Bell Folk Club from 9pm

3rd Sunday – Nic Blandford at Sesiwn Cymreig our Welsh Folk Sessions from 8:30pm

4th Thursday – Blue Bell Transatlantic Sessions (as above) from 9pm

One day we will have something on every Thursday!
