Mailing List

I've just had an idea that might help keep people informed about updates and additions to the site...

A weekly email digest containing news (bilingual) and headings of forum topics and articles - much the same as thesession.org 's mailing list. 

Would people prefer to be automatically subscribed, or join the list on an opt-in basis?
