The secret life of a tune - or the story of a tune
As I've been going through all the tunes on the old site, moving them over one by one, I've leant some thought to the story behind tunes - their history, and the nice little stories about them you get at gigs when the artist says a little bit about the tune they're going to play. Here's a post from Sian that I'm going to paste here...

Most of the stuff can be got from St Fagans, but the really interesting stuff is still locked away in Aberystwyth! I know... I'm on my way up there.

And it got me thinking... how about using the comment facility on the bottom of pages with tunes on them to tell the story of that tune? So far, the site has been concerned with preserving the music - but without the stories behind the music, it's value is surely diminished...
I for one would love to hear somthing of the stories behind some of the tunes on this site... Anyone want to contribute in that way?
